- Had a phone conversation with George Spurlock today, where he related to me that ANS Xtreme is now the official west coast distributor for Torques, and while he’s still recovering from surgery, they’re also able to fill Hard Corps orders as needed. Mr. Spurlock also wanted to thank everyone who sent their letters, emails, and prayers before, during, and after his procedure.
- It’s a paintball baby boom! Camille and Travis Lemanski welcomed daughter Gabriella Jean into the world, while TechPB’s Mike Phillips and wife Jen welcomed twin daughters Madison and Rebecca. Both moms are doing fine, and both dads are proud as punch.
- Dawn Allcot is still pregnant, with a due date of October 2nd. She thinks this one will be early, while TJ is thinking late. Minions are standing by to take pictures of the baby once he or she arrives. Because my Minions tend to take orders literally, I specified that the baby picture would be taken once it arrives in the incubator, NOT during the delivery itself.

- Thanks to Hurricane Ike, NPPL Houston was cancelled. Our thoughts and prayers are with those coping with the aftermath of Hurricane Ike.

- The Smart Corps factory team is picking sides…they’re going to be on the “World” side at the Tippmann vs. The World Challenge this year.

- The September 21st DraXxus 3 Man has been cancelled, so teams can prepare for World Cup.
- Premium Box seats and Grandstand Seating are now available from the PSP for World Cup.
- Coronation Street (a famous English soap series) recently filmed a key story line involving paintball in Manchester, England. Equipment donated by KEE Action Sports, Spyder and Eclipse made the shoot possible and the episode will be aired on Wednesday 15th October on ITV1 in the UK.
- ECX Paintball Park in Chesapeake City, Maryland will be holding a scenario game October 4th called “Texas Hold ‘em Massacre”. Go or Barno will be visiting you late at night…
- VillaDirect is offering a deal for those looking to get a place for World Cup.
- In case you’ve forgotten, the Juliana Benefit Game at Camp Blanding is next weekend…I’ll be there along with the Tiny Blonde Goddess playing, covering and generally making everyone involved famous. Sadly, I’m going to be on the side opposing Rich Struth of PBJunkie.Com. I suspect that it’ll be a well-photographed duel to the death between me and Rich on-field. Fortunately for me, I’ll have Doom Troopers and South Beach Pimps backing me up.
