1. Sam Caldwell, the man who brought professionalism to tournament paintball as part of Lively Productions has passed away after a long bout with lung cancer.  We at 68Caliber.Com and TheFordReport.Com send our best wishes and prayers to his family.
2. Team XSV will be upgrading all their VLocity Hoppers with HyperDrive Core Chips.  Janek is a very happy large Polish man right now.

4. Your last chance to compete in this year’s Regional Series of events for the Spyder Cup is coming up October 12th at SC Village in Corona, California.  Some of the guys on NAK competed in the Lakeland, FL leg of the series and had a great time.  It’s worth checking out!
5. Speaking of Spyder, Chuck Hendsch, formerly of JT/Brass Eagle/K2 is now a VP of sales for Kingman Group, joining the already high powered sales team at Spyder.
6. Ryan Greenspan of Dynasty is going to Santiago, Chile to compete with a team in the CSP event.  Hope he’s brushed up on his spanish…
7. The SPCS’s Tracy shook her fist and had some harsh words for Hurricane Gustav, and it appears that Gustav knows his role and will not be victimizing Florida.  Which is good, because there’s an SPCS going on at Central Florida Paintball this weekend!
8. PSP announces a homie hookup on pool homes and condos for getting your stay on at this year’s World Cup.
9. Thomas Taylor was on this week’s “Xtreme Paintball:  Beyond the Paint”.
10. TheFordReport.Com is up and running now, and people are apparently going to and enjoying the site.  Evan Money has the distinction of being the first contributor to the “Dale needs to trade his Mountaineer in and buy a Corvette” Fund.  Thanks E!

It’s been very quiet here with the Tiny Blonde Goddess off visiting family and friends in Oklahoma.  Fortunately for me the ladies have managed to control themselves in her abscence, however Phatty the Cat is now under the impression that I’m the only person in her life.  The Tiny Blonde Goddess arrives back in Florida this coming Sunday, and as such I will not be available Sunday and Monday!
