- This weekend NOCER Productions’ “Bloodlines: The Inquisition” will be taking place at Old River Paintball near Ocklawaha, FL. http://www.oldriverpaintball.com/ for directions to the field, because only the top of the heap are coming to this game, and I KNOW you’re top notch!
- Stockholm Joy Division dominated the European Millenium Series this year, as well as a couple of other series. No surprise there, nor is it a surprise that they used ProCaps Paint to do the dominating with.
- Smart Corps wins the final SPPL event held last weekend at Low Country Paintball in Ludowici, GA. Frank “Da Tank” Connell guested with the team, and was his usual evil self. Kinda weird seeing him use a SP-1, but there you go. Got some great pictures of Smart Corps and Black and Blue Krew, their main nemesis, until I was recognized by a couple of brothers on Smart Corps and I magically got lit up like a christmas tree…hmmm…
- Smart Parts is hosting a ‘Quick Strip Challenge’ at this year’s World Cup, which starts next week. I wonder if any blondes will be involved…
- Wait, what? Oh…the LUXE Quick Strip Challenge…my bad…
- The PSP announced their Live Web Event coming from World Cup this year. Friday will be free, and Saturday and Sunday will run you $9.95.
- The NPPL announced their pump division for San Diego this past week.
- ProCaps will be holding dealer’s meetings at this year’s World Cup.
- I believe I’m spoken for on Saturday night at World Cup, but I still have some meeting slots open if necessary. More than likely I’ll be hanging out at the Hard Corps Booth alot, as well as the TechPB.Com booth.
- Just in time for this week’s Ford Report, Dawn and TJ Allcot welcomed new daughter. Ashley Lyn was born at 10:04 PM on October 12, 2008, weighing 6 lbs. 4 oz., and 19.5 inches long. Picture of the newly minted cuteness below.
- Camille and Travis Lemanski released pictures of their now-5 week old daughter Gabrielle for your viewing enjoyment.
- Jayson Nielson’s wife went into labor while he was in Georgia for the SPPL Finals…I suspect he’s going to be sleeping on the couch for a LONG time…
- Team IYAOYAS wildman Joe Holleran and his wife welcomed their new daughter a little early this past Sunday at 1:53 PM. Paige Joy Holleran is doing just fine and so is mom.
- MAJOR price drop on Ego 8′s…get ‘em while they’re hot! $950 is a GREAT price for an Ego 8.
- Smart Parts will be updating SP-1 and Vibes with their Blackheart software.
- Saw a DM-9 in person this past weekend at LCP. Didn’t get a chance to shoot it or talk to owner Macy Smith about it, since she was using it to compete in the SPPL! I also have it on good authority that her 16th birthday is today, the 16th. Happy birthday, Macy!
- Cleo Fogal says: “Independent experts have confirmed what tens of thousands of paintball players already knew….. Skirmish USA’s Invasion of Normandy is one of the top ten most manly travel destinations in the world. … and will be featured as such on an upcoming program on the Travel Channel. The show was originally slated to air in the last quarter of 2008, but production changes at the Travel Channel have pushed its airdate back into the first quarter of 2009.,,, we’ll let you know exactly when, right here, on the Ford Report.”
- KEE Action Sports will be having a Dealer Seminar in Dallas, TX November 19th and 20th at the Radisson DFW South hotel.
- Speaking of KEE, they’ve hired Olly Potts to their European sales team.

- Because of Columbus Day Monday, the PSP extended World Cup registration to Tuesday.
- Angel Paintball Sports will be at World Cup as well, showing off the full line of the Angel Fly.
- Chris Iaquinta is bringing along Kat Secor, Kat Gong, and Claire Benavides for a photo shoot that’ll be shot live this Saturday via webcast at www.splatmagazine.com . He’s being coy about specific outfits and such, but the theme of the shoot will be “Bedroom Fantasies”. I could say something, but I’m going to restrain myself here. I’m old and very married…
