1. The finale for the NPPL season is this weekend, in San Diego. The festivities started today with the trade show, and the actual game play starts tomorrow, so if you’re not there, tune in to the NPPL Live broadcast at www.nppllive.com !

2. Charles Kincaid and his lovely bride had their wedding this past weekend at a Renaissance Faire near Tavares, FL this weekend. On the drive up, we passed through a town called “Howie -on-the-hill”, Florida. That’s right up there with the bustling metropolis of Waldo, FL.

3. During the course of the 10 minute ceremony, The Tiny Blonde Goddess and I took 357 pictures.

4. Long time Team Avalanche owner Ed Poorman is taking a step back from paintball and is turning the team over to Frank “The Tank” Connell. The economy has put a strain on his business and he has to focus on making a living.

5. The first Christian paintball club in Ukraine has been opened. This club puts on games for homeless ”street” children and lower class families as a way of bringing some light into their otherwise dark lives. For information contact Valeriy saviors_home@yahoo.com

7. NOCER Productions is holding their annual Thanksgiving weekend event at Old River Paintball the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The them of the Toys for Tots event this year is “Shenanigans”. For more information, check out http://www.myspace.com/nocer_productions

9. ANS Gear has some good deals on Hoodies from Empire’s ’09 lineup, as well as Planet Eclipse T-shirts and WGP Trilogy Sport markers.

10. I now have Chris Lasoya’s cell phone number. All of the sudden attractive women are paying a lot more attention to me. Ladies, I’m married and Chris has an extremely hot girlfriend. I haven’t yet asked John Amodea if he had the same reaction when he got ahold of Lasoya’s number.

11. PBJunkie’s “Junkie in the Trunk” blog by Jes Sharai is now up in the blogs section at www.pbjunkie.com

12. “Georgia” Joe Hamilton is nearly done with the map for this year’s DraxXus Free Finale, and both Generals are working on their “Yo Momma” jokes, while The Tiny Blonde Goddess is working on her dance moves.

13. Speaking of her, I have made the executive decision that Mike Tolnay, Frank Connell, Lance Naumann and anyone under the age of 18 will NOT be allowed to watch her dance when she does her role on-field at the event. Granted, she’ll be fully clothed, but no matter. “Georgia” Joe Hamilton may be allowed to watch, but only under heavy guard.

14. The interrogatory feelers have gone out to the various sources I have within the pro playing community, and I should have things to report after Commander’s Cup. I’m having to send reinforcements to several of the Minion Squads, as some of the players I’m attempting to have interrogated are particularly tough, like Art Mendoza and Jeff Stein.

15. Other things I’m hearing back are that a lot of teams are going to be choosing one league or another depending on how they place this weekend. It really does come down to this one NPPL Commander’s Cup for quite a few top teams.

16. DYE is setting up a booth at Commander’s Cup. Local event for them, I believe.

17. Speaking of DYE, the Rotor review is complete and sent off to my editor at PB2X for publication. Still making my mind up on the aesthetics of the loader, but that’s all subjective anyhow. 18. I have information that leads me to believe that Ray Veasey is going to be a happy camper early next week…

19. Angel One Fly review is now fully underway. Joe “Sideshow” Holleran is helping out with some video footage to demonstrate the marker’s efficiency.

20. The Ford Report now has a gallery, per demands from the Tiny Blonde Goddess and her Nikon D70.
