Over in England, Robbo dropped this line: “The UK Paintball scene has been in decline for the past few years and because of this, some major figures in the UK industry have formed an action committee to create a UK federation that will become a sanctioning body for events, teams and members. The new board will look to integrate the UK into the UPBF that is a proposed world paintball federation headed up by the PSP and Millennium with a view to standardizing rules, game formats and operational protocols. The board voted in Pete Robinson as chairman and the remainder of the board members were appointed differing responsibilities to be carried out this coming year. So far, the likes of Planet, Dye, Kee, Kingman, Procaps, Manic, Just Paintball, Phoenix, the MIllennium Series, JCS, Angel Sports are all represented on this board and have expressed 100% support to its goals for 2009.
