1. Paintball News suspends publication. Rene and Juvy cite personal issues and a loss of advertisers for the interruption in production of the magazine. They hope to come back in March.
2. Review of NEHP’s Fluid Muscle Recovery drink completed this weekend. I didn’t have much faith in this stuff, but it actually works!
3. In retaliation for having some minions ‘have a talk’ with John Amodea, he sent down some minions of his own ‘to make sure’ I sent in all the event coverage and reviews I promised him. They left, but were a bit unhappy with the Tiny Blonde Goddess’s methods utilized for escorting them out…
4. JT Sports has a new website and a new logo. Check both out at www.jtusa.com
5. PSP is busy right now, making changes to their player classification system as well as the format itself, changing the rate of fire to 12 bps for Pro and Semi-Pro, and 10 bps for everyone else.
6. They also announced the PSP Phoenix Open, set to go off February 19th-22^nd.

8. Paintball X3 will have a booth at the Paintball Extravaganza where they will premiere the first digital issue of the magazine. Stop by and say hello.
9. Mxball Sports only has two paid teams for the Cancun Event coming up, so they’re making some changes to make it more affordable and appealing to teams to come down and play and party in Cancun. Keep informed on this event at www.mxball3.com
10. The PSP and CFOA are having a joint ref clinic at Paintball Central Sports Park near Greenville, SC this weekend.
11. They’re going to follow that up with one at Velocity Paintball Park in Ramona, CA on the 31^st of January. That’s a PSP ref only clinic, though.
12. It’s about a month out from the Paintball Extravaganza Industry convention in Atlanta, GA. Retailers and Field Owners can get up to $1300 in account credits for showing up and taking advantage of the opportunities to take tech classes, meet with the big boys, and see what’s out there in 2009. www.pb-events.com to sign up.

16. The new marker from Sweden’s Regency Paintball, the Chrome arrived this weekend while I was at Kohn Sports playing and getting beat up by a 7 year old girl.
