Got this email from Samantha Bocelli today:

Hi Dale,

We had an accident at the store this past weekend and I was wondering if you could post something about it.

The video is on propaintball.com and sacpaintball.com.

I think that we have a dangerous situation at hand and we feel that as a paintball community we should try to let everyone know that these tanks, in particular, are dangerous and possibly if there are other manufactures with tanks like this that they could be potentially dangerous as well.  The customer states that he bought it when ACI use to have their sidewalk sales and he worked in the area and picked it up.  I’m concerned that there may be more out there.

Randy should be OK he’s having more tests this week.  He is bruised and in pain but it could have been a lot worse.

And, of course, being a man the AFTS tournament took place (I’ll send you over those results later) but that did take a toll on him and he’s at home resting.

I think that it’s important for everyone to understand that we followed all the safety protocol’s – tank re-hydro, letting the lock tight set for 24 hours, ect.

But again I don’t want anyone to have to go thru that – Being the wife I was scared to death but had to stay as composed as possible at the store to handle the mess.

It had exploded a paintball box and the paramedics had thought that we were playing paintball in the store!  We’re still finding paintball – one was inside a glove.

We laugh now but thank goodness no one was in the store.

I’m on a different computer so I don’t have the pictures of the tank and regulator I did send them over to Junior at sacpaintball
