A Ford Report Minion has gotten exclusive pictures and information regarding the 2010 line from Planet Eclipse.

Long known for their line of high quality soft goods and makers of one of the most popular paintball guns in the sport, Planet Eclipse has widened their focus to now include future players as well as current players.

The 2010 Distortion Diaper is still in the prototype phase of development, but information we’ve gathered indicates that Planet has another winner on their hands. Designed by soon-to-be father Nick Truter, along with input from Bea Youngs and “Georgia” Joe Hamilton, the notes we saw indicate that the 2010 Distortion Diaper is easy on/easy off for quick turnaround times, has superior containment, and of course, that timeless Planet Eclipse Style. Several different colors, including blue and pink are going to be part of the lineup of colors and patterns included in the 2010 Distortion Diaper family of products. We also understand that several splash patterns will be available, as well as an SL version of the 2010 Distortion Diaper.

While the prototypes are showing huge potential, there are still kinks to be worked out. Observation shows that the 2010 Distortion Diaper encourages excessive wiping which is contradictory to the corporate ethos of fair play at Planet Eclipse. This is an issue that will have to be addressed before bringing the product to full production in time for a World Cup release.
