1. Shooting Hot Magazine went live at midnight, and in 15 hours we exceeded the bandwidth on our server twice. Apparently we’re doing something right! Http://www.shootinghotmagazine.com

2. Speaking of Shooting Hot, I’ve had a grin on my face all day, convincing my boss at my day job that I’ve well and truly lost my mind.

3. Blue chimes in: “Castle Conquest was held this last weekend and over 600 players attended. CASTLE AAARRGH fell in a record 52 minutes so EMR ran a second Conquest for the players and then finished out the day with open play on various fields. This sets a new record for the attackers which was a far cry from the spring when the defenders held it for the full 4 hours. That’s the great thing about Castle Conquest, In Your Face Paintball but never the same twice. The Player’s Party was sponsored by Albany Marshals and Canadian Justice with an October Fest theme and ran into the wee hours of the morning. Date for next spring is set for April 24th so if you missed this one, plan on next year’s.”

4. PSP has pretty much filled up all their team slots for World Cup, but there are still a few D2 Race-to 4 and Race-to 5 team slots open. Get ‘em while they’re hot!

5. I saw on Facebook where some companies were already on site at Fantasy of Flight setting up…I may have to sneak out there this weekend and get some pictures, all Ninja-like.

6. Chuck Hendsch has invited me to the NPPL’s last event of the year in Vegas so I can record for posterity the assbeating he plans on serving to Frank Connell in the poker tournament. Maybe Da Tank and Da Hendsch can fly me out there for that…

7. My homie Travis Dusek over at Customer Products has a deal for players traveling in for World Cup…rather than transporting pods, buy ‘em from Travis and Co. and they’ll transport ‘em for you and you just pick them up on-site!

8. The PSP released their vendor list for this year’s World Cup as well.

9. If you’re going to Vegas for the NPPL World Paintball Championships, while you’re out and about, check out the Kingman KT Pistols for free!

10. Keeton Tosh won the Angel Paintball Sports prize package from Suicide Guys for the month of October.

11. Jeff at Traumahead Sportz informs me that The Traumahead Sportz show debuts tomorrow night on Dish Network channel 230 at 10:30 PM EST.

16. The PSP announces the World Cup Webcast, set to run October 9-11^th, and not cost a cent!

17. DYE will make the US Debut for the NT at World Cup.

18. For some odd reason, I’m being told by dealers that DYE raised the MAP price on the Rail to $399.

19. TSSOC’s Ram earns most valuable player at BioWars 2 at Skirmish.

22. Speaking of Security Teams, Elsie Navarro and Inez Murray will be acting as Jamie’s Security Team this year. However, rather than using force and intimidation to keep the baddies at bay, Elsie’s smile will serve as the primary weapon. If you’ve ever seen Elsie smile, you know what I’m talking about. Nobody can remain angry or have a mean-on after seeing that smile. If by some chance you are, then Inez will deal with you directly.
