- NPPL’s DC Challenge was won by Tampa Bay Damage! Congrats to Paul Richards and his band of killers for taking 1st!
- This weekend PSP is having their MAO event in Rock Hill, SC. Because of the absolutely horrific heat and humidity, a heat warning has been issued. Drink, Drink, Drink, then drink some more!
- But after you’re done playing, party like a rock star in some of Charlotte’s nicer clubs who are offering drink specials to PSP players.
- The guys over at ProPB.Com got a mysterious email: http://www.propaintball.com/2010/08/propb-leak-mysterious-email/

- If you’re in TechPB’s Player’s Club, you can see some information and a picture of the Ego 7 that Dave and Scott the Coater over at Dynamic are doing dark, evil things to. It’s complete now, and should be heading back to me for assembly. Pictures and an announcement on who will be using this piece of dark art soon!
- I also have it on good authority that Dave from Dynamic and the guys will be shooting video this weekend. Not sure what they’re shooting video of, but I’m told that it’ll feature a hot chick, yet still be safe for work.
- And yes, she’s hot because Dave sent pictures!

- The South Beach Pimps are going to be doing something cool in 2011…can’t say more than that right now, other than our sponsors will love it and so will players!
- In the meantime, those of you over in the UK ought to be getting spooled up for the Tippmann UK Challenge. If not, you’d better get started! The event is the last weekend of this month! http://www.tippmannchallengeuk.com/
- There was a rumor I got asked about saying that Billy Smith of LCP was going to buy the NPPL. Phone calls to Billy and representatives of the NPPL resulted in much laughter and of course a flat denial from both parties.
- So I had this fantasy about the NPPL this past weekend… http://thefordreport.com/2010/08/imagine-ramping-in-the-nppl/
- Rumors of an NPPL KillTeam on the way to my house are patently false. Frank Connell himself stated that he was rather pleased with the editorial, and no KillTeam had been dispatched.
- MOATI is going to shut down the Extreme Stitchworks name and buy/acquire the Special Ops name and run his business under that banner.

- For those of you over 18 and on The Ford Report ‘cool kids list’ I have a very nice Shooting Hot Magazine desktop I could send your way if you hit me back via email. Gerry Bates is so cool I already sent him his SHM Desktop.
- The August issue of UK Paintball Scene is now up: http://www.paintballscene.co.uk/
- Gio and the guys have been busy packing goodie bags that are going to be given away at Decay of Nations IV…but you have to be signed up by tomorrow or you’re going to miss out!
- Meanwhile, “Georgia” Joe Hamilton and the homies over at LCP Scenario Games are getting spooled up for “A Modern Warfare II” being held next month at LCP. It’s going to be a wild one since it’s the OG Forums’ “Meet ‘n’ Greet” game…last year’s Meet ‘n’ Greet was all sorts of silly at Fulda Gap. The attendees are already scoping out a local Chili’s… http://www.lcpscenariogames.com to get signed up!

- Word has it that my friend Kurt is recovering nicely from his open-lung biopsy to figure out what the “fungal crap” in his lungs was, so much so that the doctors are now willing to restart his course of consolidation chemo.
