GI Sportz delivers the UK’s first event printed ball

The UK’s first event specific printed ball has been delivered by GI Sportz to joint promoters Shoreline Paintball and YPC.

Shoreline & YPC ran a competition for players to design the paintball that they would use at the Battle of Britain event to be held April 28/29 in the UK.

After sifting through hundreds of entries, the winning entry was designed by Dave ‘Indie’ Jones from the Bad Moji Scenario Team. GI Sportz printed the design onto millions of paintballs across both the GI Sportz and DXS brands which will be shot at the game.

“We are always attracted by inventive ideas which engage paintball players and when Shoreline and YPC suggested a competition to allow players to design the ball at one of their events GI Sportz were immediately interested. Players having a direct input into the products they use is what GI Sportz is all about.”

Richmond Italia – CEO, GI Sportz

“The ability for players to design their own paintballs that can be delivered over a range of grades and brands is fantastic and we are very pleased to have partnered with GI Sportz and their UK distributor Manic Paintball for our Battle of Britain Paintball Festival”

Andy Sables – Director, YPC

“Having quality paint is critical for any event so working with GI Sportz is always a pleasure. The flexibility to allow the players to design their own paintball to shoot is fantastic. It’s the cherry on top of what will be a fabulous weekend Paintball Festival”

Tim Barnett – Director, Shoreline Paintball
