Joe Hamilton, where do we begin…. Joe has been an instrumental part of LCP Scenario Games from the very beginning. In fact, I (Billy Smith) met Joe at a scenario game, doing what he loves. I have personally witnessed Joe giving everything in his heart to create a more exciting game for the players. This man lives and breathes these scenario games. Those that know him can attest to this. Even if you are hungry, stop by his ‘love shack’, he doesn’t even have to know you, he will feed you. Joe does not meet a stranger. he is a lover of life itself.
Now, about Joe, he is married and a father to a fantastic family. Times have been hard on him but he has always managed to pull through. That is until recently. Joe has been diagnosed with a mass attached to his spinal cord at the base of his neck. At this time it is not known if it is cancerous or not. Just assuming it is not cancerous, the surgical procedure to have this mass removed is going to run $20k plus. I have spoken with Joe and he does not have the money for the procedure.
Our October game – ‘Zombies vs Humans’ – will be a fundraiser for Joe. The more people that attend will increase the amount of revenue that I can pass to Joe. Joe will receive funds from entries and from paint sales. It is the least that I can do to help. I will also be speaking to companies like Valken (whom I am quite sure will help) to help give what they can to help. If you or your company or you know of a company that would help. Have them contact us at Low Country Paintball. Vendors will not be charged a set up fee at the October Fund raiser game for Joe.
