• “Georgia” Joe Hamilton underwent emergency surgery yesterday to remove what was thought to be a growth from his spinal cord. Two damaged disks in his neck were removed and replaced, damaged muscles were repaired, and a titanium plate was installed to keep everything in place. There may or may not be some damage to his spinal cord. I understand that the procedure went well, but there were some complications from anesthesia that required an overnight stay in ICU. As of this writing, he’s out of ICU and starting the recovery and healing process.
• Meanwhile, Gino tells me that NPPL DC Challenge was a huge success for Valken.

• Team IYAOYAS member Sectionate had this: “Iyaoyas NE chapter took home the MVT award at the “We Were Soldiers” game a few weeks ago. Did the same at the Ft. Knox Empires game on 7/22 “, and he went on to add that “Iyaoyas SE will be attending the Shadow Wars game and the 4Real 3 events. Come make friends!”

• As anticipated, Miss Tinsley turned 4 this past weekend, and a good time was had by all, including The Castleman Exclusion Zone, The Almighty Madam Hagfish, my sainted parents (They had to be saints to raise me!) and “Georgia” Joe Hamilton. I’m still getting used to the whole (step) daddy thing, but I’m starting to have fun with it. The cradle that my dad made for Tinsley’s baby doll absolutely melted everyone’s heart.
