• Meanwhile, Machine Paintball’s Andrew Spurlock is hard at work building the booth setup for this year’s World Cup. Seriously! He was breathing hard when I called, and I can assure you he wasn’t breathing hard because of my manly voice…

• Meanwhile, I’ve been hearing rumblings about a possible Ego 13. I’d send Minions to interrogate everyone involved, but previous experience tells me that they’d enjoy it.
• Saturday is going to be a BIG DAY! The Paintball Show is debuting over in Europe on Sky Channel 191 or FreeSat channel 400. For those of us in North- and South America, as well as the rest of the world, we’ll be watching the show at www.thepaintballshow.tv at 5:30PM EST here on the east coast of the US.
• In more gun news, Sonny Lopez drops in: “We are happy to report our BTT (Beta Test Team) has given us great feedback on the Beta SAR12′s and we have decided to implement some changes immediately that will result in a higher performing product. We wanted the taget market to get their hands on it before actual production starts so we can get feedback from around the world. That being said we are going to push back our Christmas release and reschedule it to February 2013 so these changes can be implemented. Some will be sad they are not able to get their own SAR12 this holiday season but we feel it is the right thing to do. Essentially we are placing our want to produce a high quality product over making a quick buck on something we know can be even better. Pre-orders are still being accepted at www.sar12.com All pre-orders come with your name and/or company/team logo lasered onto the SAR12 for no extra cost. • Waverly Muller announces on FaceBook that she’s no longer with Tiberius Arms. She’ll be continuing her work with Zodiac as well as working an out-of-the-industry job.

• In other news from an anonymous minion, Sherwood Forest Paintball in LaPorte, IN is done hosting scenarios in house. A few members of The Discipline Lords, an international reffing team, are putting together a scenario game company and are considering using Sherwood as a host field. The owner of Hole In The Wall Paintball in Bangor, MI is thinking about selling the business after 25 years in the game. The numbers being considered are around $125K to $130K. That would be for the business, around 15 acres, and inventory.
• Empire Paintball is rolling out their Contact Zero 2013 line.
• Quarles was kind enough to answer a couple of questions about the Splatmasters this week, which will help me complete the review…it’s been held up mainly because my daughter won’t put it down!
• D-Day Paintball Park will be hosting “Red Dawn” this weekend…head out to Wyandotte, OK and shoot LOTS of Valken paint at the opposition!
